Excitement over the debut of Pandora — The World of Avatar means that Guests will be arriving early each morning when the new land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park opens on May 27, 2017. These early mornings will go much smoother with full bellies - which leads us to breakfast! 

Guests can make a stop at fast-casual Satu’li Canteen, where a diverse breakfast menu will offer plenty of choices. On the savory side, there’s a hearty Vegetable Goat Cheese Frittata with Wood-Fired, Herb-Crusted Beef and Chimichurri; as well as Pork Shoulder Potato Hash with Chorizo Sausage and Natural Jus; or a Steamed Pod (bao bun) with Scrambled Egg, Bacon, Spinach and Pickled Vegetables.  

Prefer a sweet beginning to your day? Try the Tropical Pandora Forest Fruits with Yogurt Muesli and Vanilla Maple Syrup; Steel-Cut Oats with Whiskey Raisins, Marcona Almonds, Goji Berry; or Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with Blueberry Cheesecake Dollop and Passion Fruit Anglaise.

For children ages 9 and younger, there’s three tasty meals to choose from: Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with Blueberry Cheesecake Dollop and Passion Fruit Anglaise; a Scrambled Egg Steamed Pod (bao bun); and cereal and milk.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant will be Serving Breakfast!

For a limited time, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios®, will open for an all-inclusive breakfast featuring breakfast pastries and choice of appetizer, entrée and non-alcoholic beverage. The price for breakfast is $23.99 per adult and $12.99 per child age 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity not included). Meals are one table-service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan.  

Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise
“Ferrytale Wishes” will be an exclusive dessert party and unique fireworks viewing experience on Seven Seas Lagoon aboard one of the iconic ferryboats.

• The menu includes a variety of desserts, a fruit and cheese display and ice cream novelties. Guests will also receive a souvenir acrylic palette plate and glow glass once onboard.

 New Frozen Musical Coming to Disneyland!

In summer 2016 “Frozen” comes to life in an all-new theatrical production at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure® Park. This new show will feature elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects and surprising scenic transformations.



Last Year For Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights!

For the final year, there will be two additional options for enjoying The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights – the Merry & Bright Dessert Party (Nov. 6-Dec. 30, 2015) and the Merry & Bright Dinner Reception (Jan. 1-3, 2016).

• The Merry & Bright dessert party includes specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, soda, water, tea and coffee along with holiday-themed desserts, the dinner reception features a selection of small bite. Each guest will receive a keepsake roll-up stadium blanket. Price is $69 per adult and $39 per child (tax and gratuity are included).
• The Merry & Bright Dinner Reception will be available beginning Sept. 16, 2015.  Guests will enjoy a buffet including shrimp, beef, turkey and more along with specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine.  Each guest will receive a custom keepsake shadow box featuring their own Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights lightbulb.  Price is $69 per adult and $39 per child (tax and gratuity are included).
• This is the final season in order to make way for the recently announced Toy Story Land and a Star Wars-themed land.  

New Luggage Tags for Travel to Walt Disney World® 

Now resort hotel guests will receive the newly designed luggage tags in the same box as their MagicBands!  What do you think of the new designs?   

Sunday Brunch Now Available at Narcoosee's
Families can now enjoy a waterfront brunch at Narcoossee's starting November 22, 2015.  Narcoossee's is located in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

• Speciality beverages will be offered (Champagne, mimosa or a signature Bloody Mary for adults.  Smoothies for kids).
• Shared pastry basket for the table.
• Then you will have a selection of an appetizer and entrees.  The menu has with a refined twist of traditional brunch favorites. Some items include shrimp and grits, lobster eggs benedict, chicken and waffles and fresh caught seasonal fish.
• Brunch ends with a trio of desserts.
• Cost is $69 for adults, $41 for children.  Some dining plans are accepted. 

Disneyland Diamond Celebration Extended

As discussed this post, the celebration has been extended until September 5, 2016.  The celebration is truly a must see for any Disney fan!

"Downtown Disney" has officially been renamed officially as "Disney Springs."  There are two new, one-of-a-kind dining experiences at The Landing: Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which debuted last week and Morimoto Asia, officially open to guests.
