The global team of Cruise Critic editors recognize the top companies in the cruise industry based on first-hand experience and industry knowledge. This is Disney Cruise Line’s fifth year to be recognized with this award and Adventures by Disney’s third consecutive win!

Newsweek, one of America’s most iconic news magazines, also named Disney Cruise Line as No. 1 overall in its inaugural 2019 list of America’s Best Companies for Customer Service. Newsweek based its ranking on a survey of more than 20,000 U.S. customers with criteria such as customer focus and likelihood of recommending the service.

Castaway Cay the Best Cruise Line Private Island Third Year in a Row

Cruise Critic members have recognized Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay, as the “Best Cruise Line Private Island” for its 2018 Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards. This marks the third year in a row for receiving this reward. !

Castaway Cay was also voted the Top Rated Overall island in all of the Caribbean.

Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney win Cruise Critic Award

The editors of Cruise Critic have selected Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney® for three top honors in their 10th annual Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards.

Disney Cruise Line earned the top spots in the Best Entertainment and Best for Families categories while Adventures by Disney earned Best for Families in the River Cruising category.

According to one Cruise Critic editor, “With all the magic of The Mouse behind it, Disney Cruise Line features some of the most enchanting spectacles afloat, including at-sea fireworks, interactive art and phenomenal production shows.”

Disney Cruise Line Wins Big Again

Cruise Critic reviewers recognized the Disney Magic as the No. 1 cruise for families while also ranking the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder as top cruise ships in the Best for Families category. 

In the large-ship category, the Disney Dream took the No. 1 spots for Best Overall Ship, Best Cabins, Best Public Rooms, Best Service and Best Shore Excursions. This is the third consecutive year the Disney Dream has won Best Overall in the large-ship category.

Also in the large-ship category, the Disney Fantasy was recognized as the Best for Fitness & Recreation. While the Disney Magic took top honors for Best Overall Ship in the mid-size ship category.

The Cruisers’ Choice Awards are selected based on the thousands of reviews and ratings made by the Cruise Critic community last year. Cruise Critic is one of the largest online cruise communities with more than 150,000 cruise reviews.
