D-Luxe Burger Coming to Disney Springs May 2016

Disney Springs™ continues to expand its dining, shopping and entertainment options at Walt Disney World® Resort with the newest scheduled opening of D-Luxe Burger! D-Luxe Burger will open this May at Town Center at Disney Springs.

If gourmet burgers and twisted milkshakes are foods you enjoy, D-Luxe Burger will be the perfect place to enjoy delicious meal. When dining at D-Luxe Burger you can choose to dine in the eclectically comfortable western-inspired interior, or the covered outdoor seating area that overlooks the springs.

D-Luxe Burger will open May 2016 at Disney Springs

On the menu there’s a burger for everyone, complete with unique toppings, freshly baked buns and a signature blend of beef. Gourmet burgers on the menu include:

• Classic Cheeseburger – Beef patty topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato and pickle
• Barbeque Classic Burger – Beef patty topped with a fried onion ring, smoked Gouda, bacon, barbeque sauce and lettuce
• El Diablo Burger – Chorizo-and-signature-blend patty, fried banana peppers, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayonnaise
• Southern Classic Burger – Beef patty, topped with fried-green tomato, pimento cheese, lettuce and bacon
• Cluck Burger – Ground chicken patty, garlic herb sauce, avocado, lettuce and tomato
• Veggie Burger – house-made patty topped with Tzatziki, green bean salad, lettuce and tomato

And don't forget about the freshly cut fries with a choice of dipping sauces - the perfect companion to any of the D-Luxe burgers.

For dessert, indulge in artisanal gelato shakes with rotating flavors including Vanilla, Chocolate, Raspberry, Strawberry, Salted Caramel, S’mores and Cake.  And don't forget about the floats! Root beer, Cherry Coke and orange soda floats are also featured.  If you like and adult beverage with your border,  D-Luxe Burger will have hard sodas, draft beer and cider for you to enjoy.  Prefer and adult twist to the traditional milk shake? How about a shake with spirits include Smoked Bourbon and Beer and Godiva Raspberry. And, if the shakes weren’t enough, there is a Red Velvet Burger Macaron – handcrafted to look just like a burger, down to the raspberry “ketchup.”

I don't know about you but I'm excited to try out D-Luxe Burger! From their mouth-watering burgers to their unique dessert selections, the next time I'm visiting Disney Springs I will be stopping by for a meal!

Changes to the Walt Disney World FastPass+ Selections

It has been rumored for a while now that the FastPass+ selections of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom would be going away.  And I'm sad to report that we may have finally reached the day... The listing of attractions with FastPass+ service (found here) doesn't list Wishes nor does is list Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade.

In addition to that, when I go into book a FastPass+ for April 21 for Wishes, this is what I am greeted with:

Nothing is there! If you are familiar with the FastPass+ selection options, you would know that Wishes used to be there! For example, if I select the day before, April 21, Wishes is there to pick from.

Even though the Wishes is gone (for April 21st), the Disney's Festival of Fantasy FastPass+ is still shown for both days.  But both days tell me that there are no additional FastPass+ available.

So then I wondered if IllumiNation at Epcot and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studio's still had FastPass+ selections appearing and if they were still available.  Both still appear on the listing (can be found here):

But, even though it is showing for up for April 21st - it states that there are no more FastPass+ available...

Lastly, Disney's Hollywood Studios Fantasmic! FastPass+ selections appear and still show availability to be selected.

What do you think all of this means? Will they FastPass+ selections return? Or, as it is heavily rumored, the FastPass+ areas going to be Dessert Party areas for both Wishes and IllumiNations? I know it was nice being able to schedule my FastPass+ for Wishes on my arrival days  - when I wasn't going to use the FastPass+ on rides or attractions early on in the day but on a typical Magic Kingdom day, I didn't want to waste a FastPass+ selection for Wishes.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot® is just one of the nighttime spectaculars your Clients can enjoy at Walt Disney World® Resort. This stunning show celebrates the spirit of humanity through fireworks, lighting effects, moving music and more. At the heart of the show is a 350,000-pound Earth Globe featuring a spherical video display, around which, all of the action takes place.
