Digital Key at Select Walt Disney World Resorts

Digital Key is now live in the My Disney Experience app for Guests staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

With Digital Key, you can use the My Disney Experience app to quickly unlock their hotel room, as well as the hotel entrance gate and doors to common areas like pools, fitness centers, elevators and lounges. Plus, Guests who have completed online check-in may be able to bypass the front desk and use Digital Key to go directly to their room upon arrival.

You will be able to unlock the door to your room and other common areas that require a MagicBand or Key to the World Card at your Disney Resort hotel. Common areas may include pools, arcades, fitness centers, elevators and Club Level lounges.

The unlock door feature may be available at additional Disney Resort hotels in the coming months.

Walt Disney World Party Tickets are Now Available!

Have you been waiting for the limited party events' tickets to go one sale to book your Walt Disney World vacation? Well now you can! As tickets for Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties at Magic Kingdom® Park are now on sale! 

Earlier this month, details about the exciting and new Disney H2O Glow Nights offering at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. As part of the Incredible Summer celebration at Walt Disney World® Resort, “Toy Story” pals will throw glow parties on select summer nights, starting June 21, 2018, inspired by the awesome party in the Pixar short, “Partysaurus Rex.”

Disney H2O Glow Nights will take place only at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon on Thursdays and Saturdays from June 21-August 11, from 8-11 p.m. Tickets cost $55 for adults and $50 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax).

Tickets are also now available online for Guest-favorite fall events!  Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party fills Magic Kingdom Park with spooky delights on select nights beginning August 17, 2018. Returning party “treats” include the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks spectacular, candy and much more.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets start at $75 in advance or $85 at the gate, if available. I'd suggest getting your tickets now as many parties do sell out! 

The last special party you can now reserve tickets for is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties! Returning favorites for the holiday party includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade; “Holiday Wishes” fireworks spectacular; “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” in which Queen Elsa uses her incredible powers to transform Cinderella Castle into a sparkling, icy centerpiece for the celebration; and the jubilant show, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.”

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets start at $95 in advance or $105 at the gate, if available. Once again, I suggest you get this tickets sooner, rather than later, as these parties do sell out.

Pixar Play Zone at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Pixar Play Zone is now open at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  At Pixar Play Zone kids ages 4–12 are now able to star in an adventure-packed evening, including interactive fun, arcade games and dinner.  The pilot program will take place nightly, from 6:00-10:30 p.m. and will transport young Guests to a world full of excitement and adventure with their favorite characters from Disney•Pixar films “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles!”

While the kids play, parents can enjoy their own getaway throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Pixar Play Zone features distinctly themed environments.  The Living Room is the center for most of the action.  There’s Space Ranger Training where kids learn what it takes to become a Jr. Space Ranger of Star Command, including how to master the call of the Space Ranger, “To infinity and beyond!”  Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup – complete with a sing along for a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

Around the corner, toys of all kinds are waiting to play in Bonnie’s Play Room.  Radiator Springs Racetrack is where youngsters can build their own race cars and send them down a soapbox derby racetrack in the Piston Cup Derby Races.

The evening builds to an Incredibles Super Dance Party where kids learn super sweet moves with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible.

Doors open for registration at 5 p.m. nightly. Children must be toilet-trained. Activities and entertainment are subject to change.

The immersive Pixar Play Zone experience costs $65 plus tax per child.  Availability is limited and reservations are strongly recommended, by calling 407-824- KIDS (5437).
