See Bo Peep from Disney•Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 4’ at Disney Parks This Summer

Bo Peep, from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Toy Story” films, will be making special appearances at Disney Parks starting this summer. Meet Bo when she finds her way to Disneyland Paris, Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She’ll also be traveling across the Pacific to visit Disney Parks in Asia!

In “Toy Story 4,” when Bonnie takes the toys on her family’s road trip, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, whose adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realize that’s the least of their worries.

Toy Story Land Friends to Dress Up For the Holidays

Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® will join in on the holiday fun this year by dressing up for the holidays with fun new seasonal decor. Here is a first look at what the “Toy Story” friends – Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear – will wear in Toy Story Land this holiday season.

When you visit Walt Disney World® Resort for the holidays, expect to see Woody in a holiday vest adorned with a Christmas tree and presents, as well as a candy cane accessory for his holster. Jessie will also trade in her cowgirl vest for a holiday vest trimmed in a peppermint pattern, while Buzz Lightyear will add a sparkly Santa hat to his out-of-this-world ensemble.

In addition to holiday character greetings, Guests visiting Toy Story Land beginning November 8, 2018, can enjoy the land’s new holiday decor, including including oversized cranberry-and-popcorn garland, a holiday card “selfie” of “Toy Story” pals, an oversized Hamm sugar cookie, Green Alien ornaments and more. The land’s attractions will also be plussed up for the season with new holiday audio or music: Guests will hear sleigh bells ringing on Slinky Dog Dash, while Alien Swirling Saucers will offer two holiday tracks, plus themed lighting.

With glowing beach balls, inner tubes and other lighting effects, Disney H2O Glow Nights is a rare opportunity to experience Typhoon Lagoon under the moonlight. On select nights beginning June 21, 2018, Typhoon Lagoon will become a luminous, nighttime hotspot featuring a DJ Dance Party on the beach, plus special character meetings with Buzz, Woody and Jessie from Pixar’s “Toy Story,” as they visit Typhoon Lagoon for the first time. Disney Video: Slinky Dog Dash

Earlier this week, “Good Morning America” offered viewers a sneak peek inside Toy Story Land, the new land inspired by the “Toy Story” films that’s set to open on June 30, 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. This sneak peak  included a new look at Slinky Dog Dash!

One of the land’s highly anticipated attractions, Slinky Dog Dash is a family coaster themed as if Andy built it in his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit and some other favorite toys, including Jessie and Rex! As you can see in the new video below, the attraction’s ride vehicles – inspired by the character of Slinky in the film – will send riders dipping, dodging and dashing around turns.

Pixar Play Zone at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Pixar Play Zone is now open at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  At Pixar Play Zone kids ages 4–12 are now able to star in an adventure-packed evening, including interactive fun, arcade games and dinner.  The pilot program will take place nightly, from 6:00-10:30 p.m. and will transport young Guests to a world full of excitement and adventure with their favorite characters from Disney•Pixar films “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles!”

While the kids play, parents can enjoy their own getaway throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Pixar Play Zone features distinctly themed environments.  The Living Room is the center for most of the action.  There’s Space Ranger Training where kids learn what it takes to become a Jr. Space Ranger of Star Command, including how to master the call of the Space Ranger, “To infinity and beyond!”  Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup – complete with a sing along for a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

Around the corner, toys of all kinds are waiting to play in Bonnie’s Play Room.  Radiator Springs Racetrack is where youngsters can build their own race cars and send them down a soapbox derby racetrack in the Piston Cup Derby Races.

The evening builds to an Incredibles Super Dance Party where kids learn super sweet moves with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible.

Doors open for registration at 5 p.m. nightly. Children must be toilet-trained. Activities and entertainment are subject to change.

Alien Pizza Planet at Disneyland Resort

Everyone’s favorite Aliens from Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” will be invading Disneyland Resort for Pixar Fest! For the festival, Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port in Disneyland Park will transform into Alien Pizza Planet – “A Better Place.”

The Aliens have sourced the finest ingredients from across the universe to deliver fresh, hot pizzas that are out of this world. A specialty of their home planet, Pepperonia is a special pepperoni pizza topped with green peppers and mushrooms. They’ll also be cooking up a hearty cheeseburger pizza with ketchup, yellow mustard and pizza sauce on a sesame seed crust and topped with cheese, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, slider patties, a house-made burger sauce, and pickles. 

This transformation is just one of the many offerings coming as part of Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort, which will run from April 13 - September 3, 2018. The festival will span both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure® Park, bringing not only creatively-themed food, but also a new fireworks show, “Together Forever—A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,” the return of the “Paint the Night” parade and much more!

Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

This summer Walt Disney World will be celebrating their Incredible Summer with new offerings that will bring beloved Disney stories to life at all four Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks this summer.

It has also been announced that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will also join in on the fun with new Disney H2O Glow Nights! 

As part of Incredible Summer, “Toy Story” pals will throw glow parties at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, inspired by the awesome party in the Pixar short, “Partysaurus Rex” (check out a clip of the short below).

On select summer nights starting June 21, 2018, special lighting effects will transform the water park like never before as Buzz, Woody and Jessie throw a Beach Party inspired by their friend, “Partysaurus” Rex. Come join the fun, dance on the beach, play party games, and meet up with Buzz, Woody and Jessie, plus, all attractions are open for guest enjoyment. 

Disney H20 Glow Nights will take place only at Typhoon Lagoon on Thursdays and Saturdays from June 21 - August 11, 2018 from 8:00-11:00 p.m.

Slink Dog Dash Track Completed at Toy Story Land!

There has been an exciting milestone to share straight from the Toy Story Land construction site at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®! The final piece of track was recently installed on Slinky Dog Dash, a family coaster that will debut as one of the land’s two new attractions when Toy Story Land opens in summer 2018 at Walt Disney World® Resort. 

Walt Disney Imagineering shared this photo, which was snapped just as the final piece of red track was lowered into place.

In Toy Story Land, you will shrink to the size of a toy and explore the world of Andy’s backyard. Fitting with the theme, Slinky Dog Dash will appear to be a coaster track that Andy has built all over his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit – as well as some of his other favorite toys.
