What’s New at Disney Water Parks This Spring

Things are heating up around Walt Disney World® Resort, quite literally, and one of the best ways to enjoy the beautiful weather is a fun and relaxing day at Disney Water Parks! This spring, we’re rolling out some new offerings that are sure to make your visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach even more “cool” and magical.

Aside from signature attractions such as Summit Plummet, Crush ‘n’ Gusher and two relaxing lazy rivers, Disney Water Parks offer unique food and beverage options that you won't want to miss. After a day of splashing around, they'll also want to get their hands on the new menu items available this season.

Chow down on the Blizzard Burger at Blizzard Beach, topped with cheddar and a sweet and smoky ham-jam on a pretzel bun, served with cole slaw and steak fries. There are also new plant-based rice bowls, and for dessert, chocolate-dipped key lime pie.

You know what goes perfect with those options? A milkshake! Choose from salted caramel, peppermint, chocolate, or vanilla.

Over at Typhoon Lagoon, munch on the guacamole flight with vegetable, pineapple bacon, and shrimp varieties, or enjoy a jerk chicken rice bowl or a plant-based bratwurst sandwich. And while you are relaxing in the sun, have a Blue Typhoon Colada or Tropical Storm in your hand.  

These are just some of the new food and beverage offerings available at Disney Water Parks.

And your day enjoying Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach just got more convenient, thanks to the new Splash Pack.

For the first time, Guests can bundle and save 20 percent by purchasing the Splash Pack, which includes select food entrées and dessert options, a refillable Disney Water Park mug and a Disney-themed towel to take home. Guests will be able to chose from “Lilo and Stitch,” “Toy Story,” “Finding Nemo” and of course, Mickey Mouse-themed towels as a souvenir from their fun-filled, water park day. Available March 26-May 4, 2019, the Splash Packs is $44 per person, plus tax. You can purchase this limited-time, convenient offering at Singapore Sal’s at Typhoon Lagoon or the Beach Haus at Blizzard Beach.

Disney PhotoPass Service Heads to the Water Parks this Summer!

Disney Water Parks offer the perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. And from now until Labor Day, the expert Disney PhotoPass® photographers are stationed all over Disney’s Blizzard Beach® and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® to capture your best “splash-tastic” memories at the Walt Disney World® Resort, including some special moments at each water park!

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach, PhotoPass photographers are already busy snapping away and capturing special summer visits with Kristoff and Olaf. These Arendelle visitors are at the park through Aug.13, 2017 for the Frozen Games.

At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, our photographers are currently capturing visits with favorite Disney characters Lilo and Stitch.

They’re also now at Miss Adventure Falls, the new family-style raft attraction and the longest ride in the history of Disney water parks.

Meet Kristoff at Disney's Blizzard Beach this Summer!

“Frozen” Summer Games has returned to Disney’s Blizzard Beach® Water Park at Walt Disney World® Resort.

In addition to the return of the games, guests can now meet the team captains, Kristoff or Olaf, near the Beach Haus merchandise shop! In fact, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is the only location at Walt Disney World Resort where you can meet Kristoff, so be sure to take the opportunity to say hello to the “Frozen” star. 

Meeting a few “Frozen” friends is the perfect way to kick off the “Frozen” Summer Games, where once again Guests visiting Blizzard Beach can join Team Kristoff or Team Olaf to participate in a variety of friendly competitions, including Ice Pail Relays, Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races. Plus, they can also enjoy family activities, crafts and a DJ playing the "coolest" hits.

Frozen Summer Games Returns to Blizzard Beach

The Frozen Summer Games will be returning to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park starting May 26, with even more snowy, summery fun!

Join Team Kristoff or Team Olaf to participate in a variety of activities, from Ice Pail Relays and a Snowball Toss to Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races.

And for the first time in forever, you will be able to meet and take photos with Kristoff! He will join Olaf in their very own character greeting location at Blizzard Beach, where guests can snap photos with this adventurous pair.

With crafts, games and a DJ spinning some uptempo tunes throughout the day, the Frozen Summer Games are sure to be a major highlight at Blizzard Beach this summer.

Frozen Characters Coming to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

This summer, Disney’s Blizzard Beach® Water Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort will play host to the inaugural Frozen Games!

Olaf and Kristof are coming to Disney's Blizzard Beach this summer

The Winter Games Committee has taken advantage of the freak snowstorm over Central Florida and will host an impromptu sporting event known as The Frozen Games. They’ve even invited Kristoff and Olaf to lead teams of Guests in a day full of fun “Frozen” activities, before the warm sun melts the snow away.

When you visit Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park this summer, they can join “Team Kristoff” or “Team Olaf” and participate in a variety of activities, including Ice Pail Relays, a Snowball Toss to Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races.  Olaf and Kristoff will join the Winter Games Committee members in the games’ Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and will give updates throughout the games to report on their team’s achievements.
