Disney PhotoPass Service Heads to the Water Parks this Summer!

Disney Water Parks offer the perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. And from now until Labor Day, the expert Disney PhotoPass® photographers are stationed all over Disney’s Blizzard Beach® and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® to capture your best “splash-tastic” memories at the Walt Disney World® Resort, including some special moments at each water park!

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach, PhotoPass photographers are already busy snapping away and capturing special summer visits with Kristoff and Olaf. These Arendelle visitors are at the park through Aug.13, 2017 for the Frozen Games.

At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, our photographers are currently capturing visits with favorite Disney characters Lilo and Stitch.

They’re also now at Miss Adventure Falls, the new family-style raft attraction and the longest ride in the history of Disney water parks.

One of the biggest advantages of using Disney PhotoPass Service is convenience, especially at the water parks. Our photographers allow you to leave their camera behind and still capture memories. How Virtual Line™ Works

Arrive   Each guest will pick up their TapuTapu wearable as they enter the park. It’s theirs for the day.

Look For The Symbol   Look for this tap point throughout the park and use TapuTapu to get a return time, play and more.

Save Your Place In The Virtual Line™ Touch your TapuTapu on the tap point at a ride totem. This saves your place in the Virtual Line™ and gives a return time. The TapuTapu will hold your place in the Virtual Line for one attraction at a time (Based on availability).

Relax And Play Until Their TapuTapu™ Alerts 

Touch to Ride

Go play around the park with you wait. The TapuTapu will tell you when it’s time to head back to the ride.

Touch to Ride  Touch the tap point on the return totem and proceed through the ride entrance.


Return Your TapuTapu™ Return the TapuTapu wearables as you exit Volcano Bay™. If a credit card was linked to the wearable, it will be unlinked at this time.

Frozen Summer Games Returns to Blizzard Beach

The Frozen Summer Games will be returning to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park starting May 26, with even more snowy, summery fun!

Join Team Kristoff or Team Olaf to participate in a variety of activities, from Ice Pail Relays and a Snowball Toss to Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races.

And for the first time in forever, you will be able to meet and take photos with Kristoff! He will join Olaf in their very own character greeting location at Blizzard Beach, where guests can snap photos with this adventurous pair.

With crafts, games and a DJ spinning some uptempo tunes throughout the day, the Frozen Summer Games are sure to be a major highlight at Blizzard Beach this summer.

Miss Adventure Falls Coming to Walt Disney World March 12!

Last summer, we learned that Miss Adventure Falls, a new family-style raft attraction, is coming to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park this spring. Well now it is spring an construction is almost complete and this new attraction will open March 12!

As the final touches to Miss Adventure Falls are being added during the next few weeks, here is a look at some of the unique artifacts collected by Captain Mary Oceaneer – a sea-faring treasure hunter whose haul was caught in a rogue typhoon.

New Typhoon Lagoon Attraction

A brand new attraction called Miss Fortune Falls is coming to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park at Walt Disney World® Resort in spring of 2017!

Miss Fortune Falls will be a family-style raft attraction that takes Guests on a splashing journey through the fabled Captain Mary Oceanear’s past. Legend has it that Captain Oceanear, a treasure-hunting heroine, traveled across the sea collecting unique artifacts before she became stranded at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon many years ago by a rogue storm.

Onboard treasure rafts, Guests will ascend to the top of the attraction before plunging into a white-water adventure where they will be able to spot some of the treasures Captain Oceanear gathered from around the world.

With a ride time of two minutes, Miss Fortune Falls will be among the lengthiest attractions at both Disney Water Parks.
