Premium Experiences Coming for Disney California Adventure Park

As we announced a few weeks ago, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will take place during weekends in April, beginning April 1, 2016 at Disneyland® Resort.  In addition to Festival Marketplaces, which will be serving up the best of delicious California cuisine, the festival will also feature chef demonstrations, seminars celebrity chef appearances and more.

Culinary Demonstrations featuring some of the best chefs in the industry, including some favorites from the Disneyland Resort, will take place on the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land. Your Clients can learn new techniques during these 30-minute complimentary presentations. Seating is limited.

Conducted in the relaxing setting of the Sonoma Terrace at the Golden Vine Winery, Beverage Seminars are fun and informative; sure to quench your Clients’ thirst for knowledge about wine, beer and spirits. The 45-minute seminars include up to 3 tastings. Cost is $15 per person plus tax.

Stage 17 in Hollywood Land will be host to the Celebrity Kitchen.  Here you can catch some of the biggest names of the culinary world, including superstar chefs Guy Fieri, Graham Elliot, Claudia Sandoval, Robert Irvine and Disneyland Resort Signature Dining Chef Andrew Sutton, as they share tips, treasured recipes and behind-the-scenes-stories while they demonstrate how to create their personal favorite dishes.  An autograph signing will follow each chef appearance.  Cost is $99 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Beyond the Kitchen: Lifestyle Seminars celebrate springtime in beautiful California. Held in Hollywood Land, these seminars are an opportunity to learn more about exciting topics including gardening, horticulture and health & wellness. 

While the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is included in regular theme park admission, additional fees for seminars may be required. Space is limited. Guests must be 21 years of age or over to participate in some events; valid ID required. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters Opening Date

Cars Land at Disney California Adventure® immerses you in the world of the popular Disney•Pixar film “Cars” and make you feel like you're right in the middle of Radiator Springs.

Last year, Luigi’s Flying Tires closed to make way for an all-new attraction.  And now, we’re excited to announce that Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will open March 7, 2016 at Disney California Adventure Park.

Luigi, who has invited his cousins from Carsoli, Italy, to Radiator Springs for a special celebration, has turned the tire storage yard behind his Casa Della Tires into a dance floor! Your Clients will be able to ride along with Luigi’s cousins as they move and spin to upbeat Italian music, performing the traditional dances of their hometown village.

Each dancing car will have its own high-spirited personality and signature dance moves – making every ride unpredictable, as your Clients won’t know which way they will turn and spin next!

Tune in to ABC’s “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60,” this Sunday, Feb. 21!

The Disneyland® Resort Diamond Celebration is the inspiration for a glamorous, television event, “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60,” on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 on the ABC Television Network.


Hosted by two-time Emmy Award winner, Derek Hough, the special broadcast will originate from both the heart of Hollywood at the Dolby Theater and throughout some of the most iconic locations at Disneyland Resort, including Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street U.S.A. and Cars Land.

During the two-hour special, acclaimed actor Harrison Ford, who portrays Han Solo in the “Star Wars” film franchise,” will give viewers an exclusive preview of the Star Wars-themed lands being developed at Disneyland and Walt Disney World® Resorts.

Plus, one of the most successful solo artists of all time, Sir Elton John, will captivate audiences as he performs in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park by singing the Oscar®-nominated song “Circle of Life,” from Disney’s “The Lion King.”

And, Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf in “Frozen,” will take viewers on a tour of two very special, rarely seen locations in Disneyland Park – Walt Disney’s private apartment and the Disneyland Dream Suite.

The special will also showcase two dazzling displays of technology – the ”Paint the Night” Parade and “World of Color–Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” in Disney California Adventure Park, along with many more.
