2019 Pro Bowl Week Package Options

The Pro Bowl will be returning to Orlando for the third year in a row, which means Pro Bowl Week activities will primarily take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports again! 

The Pro Bowl is more than an all-star game at Camping World Stadium on January 27, 2019. It’s a full week to get closer to the players and game you love. From seeing favorite NFL stars, to testing your mettle on the field, the 2019 Pro Bowl Week won’t just bring you closer to the game, it will immerse you in it. From January 23 - 26, 2019 at ESPN Wide World of Sports, you will be able to participate in the Pro Bowl Experience and watch the AFC & NFC Practices, Play Football Celebrity Flag Game, Skills Showdown, NFL Flag Championships and more.

NFL Pro Bowl at Walt Disney World

NFL Pro Bowl Week is kicking off at Walt Disney World® Resort this week and there are several opportunities to get in on the fun if you are visiting.

All of the key Pro Bowl Week activities take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and many are free and open to the public, including the team practices. The AFC and NFC teams are training Wednesday starting at 10:30 a.m. and Thursday-Saturday starting at 11:30 am. 

In addition to watching the players practice, fans can test their own football skills the NFL Pro Bowl Experience – a free, interactive fan zone with fun activities for the whole family. Open daily at 10 a.m. starting Wednesday, the NFL Pro Bowl Experience gives fans the opportunity to get even closer to the action with new football-related activities, immersive exhibits and sponsor activations.

After watching the pros, fans can get a look at the future at one of the NFL’s premier youth football events – the NFL FLAG Championships on Friday and Saturday. Fans interested in exclusive access to NFL-themed games and activities, youth football clinics and more, must register for the NFL Fan Mobile Pass.

The Pro Bowl fun extends beyond the field, too. There’s a Pro Bowl Fun Run Series at the Track & Field Complex at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Saturday at 1 p.m. The event features distances for runners of all ages and abilities, and participants will receive a finisher medallion, a race bib and a commemorative item, plus post-race refreshments. Runners can also expect to see some of their favorite Disney characters, Pro Bowl cheerleaders and mascots along the way. Spots are still available here.

With complimentary parking at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, fans can partake in all of the exciting Pro Bowl action all week long! Fans can also head over to Disney Springs® to catch the NFL Pro Bowl All-Star Pep Rally starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 27. The Pep Rally will feature special entertainment, games, NFL Cheerleaders and Mascot appearances, and more!

Walt Disney World: New Process for Magical Extras Card

Beginning with January 1, 2018 arrivals, there's a new process for Magical Extra Card and voucher delivery. Instead of receiving a generic booklet including the Magical Extras card and vouchers, those who purchase a Walt Disney Travel Company package and stay at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel will now receive information about the Magical Extras in their MagicBand delivery box. 

Guests will still receive one Magical Extras Savings Card, 4 vouchers for Miniature Golf and 4 vouchers for the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex per package. The card will be personalized with the lead name, party size, travel dates and reservation number. Like always, this card must be presented at all participating shopping, dining and recreation locations to receive the associated discount or offer.

The Magical Extras Card is tucked inside a small compartment on the right side of the box (see picture below). The sleeve also includes eight perforated vouchers (4 for Miniature Golf and 4 for ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex). Guests must present a valid Magical Extras Card and voucher for admission to Miniature Golf or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

In the following scenarios, Guests will receive their Magical Extras Card, vouchers and luggage tags upon check-in at their hotel:

• Guests who pre-engage on My Disney Experience 10 days or less prior to arrival.
• Guests who book 5 days or less prior to arrival.
• Guests who do not pre-engage on My Disney Experience.
• Guests who opt out of receiving a MagicBand.
• Guests who book a Walt Disney Travel Company Package at The Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels, the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Springs® Resort Area Hotels or a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel.

2017 NFL Pro Bowl

The 2017 NFL Pro Bowl is coming to Orlando. And, Walt Disney World® Resort is excited to be part of the team hosting a week-long celebration kicking off at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Pro Bowl Week starts next Wednesday - January 25, 2017 - and the first stop for the marquee NFL players will be the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This first-class sports venue will host many of the Pro Bowl Week activities, including AFC and NFC team practices; youth football events; a free, family-friendly football-themed festival – NFL Pro Bowl Experience and more.

This site will also host the taping of “The Pro Bowl Skills Showdown,” pitting the AFC and NFC All-Stars against each other, which will air on ESPN on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. EST. Additional exciting activities are planned for Disney Springs™ and Epcot®, which will be the site of the Pro Bowl 5K run.

And, over at Magic Kingdom Resort, it will be a magic-filled afternoon, as everyone’s favorite Pro Bowlers join Mickey and his pals in a celebratory parade down Main Street U.S.A. on Friday, Jan. 27.

Atlanta Braves 2017 Spring Training to be held at Walt Disney World

For the 20th straight season, the Atlanta Braves will hold spring training at  ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex  at Walt Disney World® Resort!

The spring schedule once again includes some matchups against Major League Baseball’s marquee teams, including four opponents – the Toronto Blue Jays (Feb 25), the American League East champion Boston Red Sox (March 3), the Baltimore Orioles (March 28) and the New York Mets (March 10, 25 and 29) – who each reached the post-season earlier this year.

On top of that, the New York Yankees (March 9) are on the 18-game home schedule along with the Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles.

The Braves players begin arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in mid-February and then open up the spring season here against the Blue Jays on Feb. 25. You can add a baseball game to your Walt Disney World vacation by buying tickets to these games when they go on sale on December 12 at braves.com/springtraining, as well as through Ticketmaster outlets (800-745-3000) and at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Box Office.
