New Rapunzel Makeover Debuts at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Aboard Disney Ships

Aboard all four Disney Cruise Line ships, children's dreams of being a princess can come true with a new Signature Rapunzel makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Truly fit for royalty, the stunning, heirloom-quality gown features a latticed bodice and rich fabrics.

To complete the look, Fairy Godmothers-in-training adorn each little princess with a crystal tiara, a gold-plated sun pendant necklace, and a gold-plated and sterling silver bracelet with pink, purple and white Swarovski stones.

Disney Magic Getting New Spaces and Experiences

Exciting new spaces and new experiences designed for Guests of all ages are coming to the Disney Magic in March 2018. From family dining in an enchanted kingdom, to a transformed teen club, to a sophisticated café exclusively for adults, the ship’s newest highlights include:

An Enchanting Dining Experience for Families: At Rapunzel’s Royal Table, families will delight in an all-new dining experience inspired by the beloved story of Disney’s “Tangled.” The first table service restaurant themed to “Tangled” that features characters and live entertainment will transport you to the kingdom of Corona for an enchanted evening of music and interactive fun featuring Rapunzel and the mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs. The family fun is complete with themed menus, special activities and a lively parade to cap off the evening in Corona.

Redesigned Retreat Just for Teens: Vibe, the space on the ship reserved for teens ages 14-17, is being transformed into a trendy urban loft environment. At Vibe, teens can enjoy a new coffee and smoothie bar, play video and virtual reality games, and check out other cool activities with new friends like a DJ spin-off and movie making. Activities at Vibe are organized and hosted by trained Disney counselors who facilitate the fun and interaction among teen Guests. 

Refined Escape Exclusively for Adults: Adults can relax at Cove Café, an adult-exclusive retreat that will be redesigned in a sophisticated tropical style. It’s the perfect place to sip a specialty coffee or tea throughout the day, or indulge in wine or a cocktail and light bites during the evening hours.

Bon Voyage Character Breakfast Reservations Now Open

Recently, I told ya'all that an all-new character dining experience will be coming to Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk at Walt Disney World® Resort.  Well now you can actually make this reservation!  At the Bon Voyage Breakfast, starting April 2nd, at Trattoria al Forno, you'll have the opportunity to meet beloved Disney characters including Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric.

Breakfast is high on the theming and I love it! There will be a choice of a mixed berry parfait or fresh fruit salad and a frying pan (get it? Rapunzel's weapon of choice..) of pastries featuring braided (get it?..) breakfast bread and clam shell (love this!) pastries. Menu items “Shipwreck al Forno” (I'll stop. I'm sure you get it by now) - Calzone with scrambled Eggs, Soppressata, Bacon, Sausage, Blend of Cheeses and Sunday Gravy; “Tangled Eggs” Tomato & Basil Scrambled Eggs, Fresh Mozzarella, Sunday Gravy and Roasted Potatoes; “Tower of Pancakes” Seasonal Buttermilk Pancakes with Bacon or Sausage and more!

Kids will enjoy their choice of a Mickey Pancake, Mickey Waffle or a “Little Royal Breakfast,” which features an egg, bacon and toast. Breakfast will also include a choice of non-alcoholic beverage such as coffee, tea juice, milk and soft drinks. Mimosas, a Peach Bellini, cappuccino, press pot coffee and more will be available as an additional charge.

The character dining experience will cost $34 for adults, $20 for children. Please note Disney Characters join Guests for breakfast only. Character appearances are subject to change.

“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” Comes to Magic Kingdom June 2016

Beginning this summer at Walt Disney World® Resort, Mickey Mouse and his friends will welcome favorite characters from some of Disney’s newest classics in “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire.”  This all-new live stage show makes its debut in June on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage at Magic Kingdom® Park, with special appearances by Tiana and Naveen from “The Princess and the Frog,” Rapunzel and Flynn from “Tangled” and Anna and Elsa from “Frozen.”

New Stage Show coming to Magic Kingdom Summer 2016!

“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” brings to the stage fantastic costumes, lively dancing, special effects magic and memorable musical moments, including the original song “On This Day” by songwriters Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda (“Toy Story: The Musical,” “Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings”).

In the show, Mickey and his troupe of Merry Makers have been preparing to host a joyous festival and have ventured far and wide to invite friends from other lands to join their celebration.  From the Land of the Bewitching Bayous, Goofy has invited Tiana, Naveen and Louis to add a little spice of New Orleans jazz to the party. From the Land of the Enchanted Woods, Donald Duck brings some new friends he met at the Snuggly Duckling, and Daisy introduces us to her special guests, Rapunzel and Flynn. Finally, Mickey shares a surprise with Minnie, as he has traveled to the Land of the Mystic Mountains to invite Olaf, Anna and Elsa, who contributes a blast of her icy magic.  It all culminates in a grand dance, as the Merry Makers invite all their new friends to join in the fun on this special day in Magic Kingdom Park.

“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” celebrates the unique stories of the citizens who make up this magical kingdom. The celebration begins this June!

Tangled Returns to Disneyland

Starting Jan. 15, 2016, you can once again enjoy the hair-raising tale of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider when “Tangled” returns to the Royal Theatre in Fantasy Faire at Disneyland® Park. Resident Renaissance men, Messieurs Smythe and Jones bring this story to life with the assistance of some fellow villagers and a little help from the audience.
