Main Street Electrical Parade is now home

Main Street Electrical Parade has officially returned to Disneyland® Park. Check out this “spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination” now through June 18!
From the moment it made its debut back in 1972, this Parade was an instant classic, unlike any that came before. As day turns to night, anticipation turns to excitement as the parade’s thousands of sparkling lights and distinctive, unforgettable signature song – “Baroque Hoedown” – makes its way down Main Street USA and right into the hearts of millions of guests. With favorites like Cinderella’s Carriage, Pete’s Dragon and, of course, Mickey Mouse, it’s easy to see why this shimmering celebration has been beloved for decades.
So, whether you are seeing the Main Street Electrical Parade for the first or five hundredth time, make sure you don’t miss this rare and wonderful opportunity to experience this storied icon from Disneyland history before it goes away.

Main Street Electrical Parade Leaving Magic Kingdom

As originally reported on Disney Parks Blog, it is a sad night to report that The Main Street Electrical Parade, Magic Kingdom Park’s long-running nighttime parade last run will be October 9.  After that the parade will head to Disneyland Resort for a limited-time showing.

Main Street Electrical Parade
Main Street Electrical Parade is a nighttime procession filled with glowing, spinning floats that honor favorite Disney characters.  Some of the Animated Disney films that are represented include “Alice In Wonderland,” “Cinderella,” "Pete's Dragon," "Peter Pan," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,"  and more.  Tinker Bell lights the way with a wave of her wand and orchestrates half a million shimmering lights synchronized to a memorable soundtrack.

If you’re planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort to the see the parade one last time at Magic Kingdom Park before it ends its run, remember that Main Street Electrical Parade is not offered on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights.

If you feel the need to go to Walt Disney World and see The Main Street Electrical Parade one more time (like I do), email me lauren@magicaltravel.com today! Availability is extremely low for the fall!

New Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs!

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs has moved to a new location near Once Upon a Toy.

The location, inspired by Walt Disney’s “Cinderella,” has a newly expanded salon with a country home-inspired feel that complements the theming of Disney Springs.  At the Boutique, Fairy Godmothers-in-Training will make magical transformations for Guests ages 3-12. Girls can choose a hairstyle then add make-up, nail color and accessories – even a Disney princess costume. Boys can join in the fun too, as they’re transformed into gallant knights.
There are interactive elements, décor and artwork found throughout the Boutique – including a tile mural of Cinderella Castle.
As a reminder, all Disney PhotoPass photos taken at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are included with the purchase of Memory Maker if captured during the applicable Memory Maker window.
