Disneyland Resort Mobile Ordering Expands to New Locations

Mobile ordering launched at Disneyland Resort earlier this year with 15 fast casual and quick-service restaurant locations across Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure® Park.  Over the next few weeks, seven more locations will be added to this convenient service!

Guests can use mobile ordering to purchase their favorite food and beverage options from Bayside Brews at Disney California Adventure Park, as well as Harbour Galley and Tiki Juice Bar at Disneyland Park. This includes using mobile order to pick up the legendary Dole Whip! Soon even more choices will be available when mobile ordering expands to Edelweiss Snacks, Stage Door Café, Refreshment Corner and Royal Street Veranda at Disneyland Park.

How does ordering a classic lobster roll from Harbour Galley to pick up before watching “Fantasmic!” sound?

Using the Disneyland App, simply search for a participating location, select an arrival time window for pickup, choose items from the menu and place an order. The linked credit card will be charged when the restaurant is notified of your arrival. No more waiting in lines to order or pay!  

This convenient service is just one of the many ways Disney Parks continues to enhance the Guest experience at Disneyland Resort, including Disney MaxPass also on the Disneyland App.

Mobile Ordering at Disneyland Resort

A new mobile ordering service will soon be available at the Disneyland® Resort!

Mobile ordering is just one more option that allows your Disney vacations to be more convenient. Place orders at select fast casual and quick-service restaurant locations using the Disneyland App from anywhere across the resort to be picked up when you arrive at the restaurant. 

Using the new mobile ordering service, you can easily search for a participating location, select an arrival time window for pickup, choose items from the menu and place your order. As an added convenience, Annual Passholders will be able to apply their discount to meal purchases using the app. Guests notify the restaurant of their arrival on the app and within minutes, an app notification indicates the meal is ready to pick up at a designated window – without ever waiting in line to order and pay.

The mobile ordering functionality is part of a continued effort to enhance the Guest experience.  Combined with the recently launched Disney MaxPass, also part of the Disneyland App, you can spend more time with family and friends enjoying everything Disneyland Resort has to offer – including the upcoming Pixar Fest celebration!

Mobile Ordering at Pandora - World of Avatar & Beyond

A new food ordering service, Mobile Order, is debuting in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. 

Mobile Order will be available at Satu’li Canteen restaurant on Pandora - World of Avatar's opening day – May 27 – and then expanding to Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus during the summer! And better yet, more Mobile Order fast casual and quick service locations across Walt Disney World® Resort are on the way.

Mobile Order, which can be found in the My Disney Experience app, offers the added convenience of being able to place orders and purchase meals on-the-go.  Select menu items, customize orders and pre-pay for meals during park visits – all within the app. 

It’s easy to do. After your order is placed, pre-pay in the app and arrive at Satu’li Canteen, they'll tap the “I’m here” button. That will notify the kitchen to prepare their meal. When ready, you will be alerted through the app to pick up their meal at the designated window with the Mobile Order pick-up sign.

Please note during the initial launch period of Mobile Order, the only form of payment accepted will be by credit card. Anyone with special dietary restrictions, or those who want to use discounts or redeem dining plan entitlements must place their order with a cashier.

Disney's Animal Kingdom's New Quick Service Location

With an entire new land taking shape to open on May 27, 2017, Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park will transport you to the visually stunning land of floating mountains and bioluminescent plants. And of course there’s a culinary chapter to the story of the Na’vi. 

Enjoy creative, flavorful dishes based on the healthful bounty of Pandora, with wholesome grains, fresh vegetables and hearty proteins at Satu’li Canteen, where an on-stage grill is a prominent feature in the colorful dining room.

The Satu’li Canteen was once the main mess hall of the Resources Development Administration (RDA) base located in the Valley of Mo’ara. Now the canteen is owned and operated by Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE) tour company and has been redesigned into a beautiful museum-like dining room.

The interior has been transformed with colorful Na’vi items filling the walls and hanging from the ceiling — hand-woven tapestries, natural Pandoran elements and even cooking tools decorate the restaurant.

In this fast-casual restaurant, you'll find familiar dishes with a twist, including bowls that allow diners to customize their lunch or dinner. Diners start with a base of quinoa and vegetable salad; red and sweet potato hash; mixed whole-grain and rice or romaine and kale salad. Next is either with wood-grilled chicken, slow-roasted beef, sustainable fish or chili-spiced fried tofu. And the bowl is finished with charred onion chimichurri, black bean vinaigrette or creamy herb dressing. 

The menu also offers steamed “pods” – bao buns with either cheeseburger or vegetable curry and served with root vegetable chips and crunchy vegetable slaw.

For little ones, there’s an option of grilled chicken or beef, fish or tofu with greens or rice; a hot dog wrapped in Parker House dough; cheese quesadilla, or a steamed “pod” (cheeseburger bao bun). 

The fast-casual restaurant will also be the first to offer Mobile Order, a new convenient option to order and pay for meals on-the-go within the My Disney Experience app, allowing you to bypass the queue to order when you arrive at the restaurant. Using the app, select menu items, customize your order and pre-pay for the meal. When you arrive at the restaurant you will tap an “I’m here” button in the app, which will notify the kitchen to prepare the meal. When ready, you will be alerted through the app to pick up their meal at a designated window. Additional fast-casual and quick-service restaurants will begin to offer Mobile Order later this year.

Disney Dining Plan will be accepted at Satu’li Canteen but, at this time, Mobile Order will only accept credit cards.
