New Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant Coming to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There’s a brand-new table-service restaurant coming to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Upon entering Andy’s back yard, you are magically transformed to the size of a toy, surrounded by toys and playsets scattered throughout the area. And soon, a new play area will be set up – and this time, it’s a rodeo! But of course, being Andy, it certainly isn’t a usual rodeo …

Using three cardboard boxes cut and taped together, Andy has created a new rodeo arena using some of his favorite toys, games, and play sets. And while some pieces are definitely western-themed, what makes this rodeo special is the broad assortment of toys that have been brought together to create a fun, colorful mashup-atmosphere that only a child could create.

Once inside, you will be surrounded by all of the rodeo festivities in-action as well as western town and train station play sets. And you might spot some of you favorite Disney•Pixar characters scattered throughout the restaurant in the form of toys and game pieces including a toy version of Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy and unique toy versions of Bo Peep and her sheep, all who appear to be performing in the rodeo together.

This immersive restaurant will surround you with a kaleidoscope of toys, games, and playsets, providing yet another unique, fun, family-friendly dining experience that could only be had in Toy Story Land.

See Bo Peep from Disney•Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 4’ at Disney Parks This Summer

Bo Peep, from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Toy Story” films, will be making special appearances at Disney Parks starting this summer. Meet Bo when she finds her way to Disneyland Paris, Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She’ll also be traveling across the Pacific to visit Disney Parks in Asia!

In “Toy Story 4,” when Bonnie takes the toys on her family’s road trip, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, whose adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realize that’s the least of their worries.

Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to theaters on June 21, 2019. Stay tuned for more information on Bo Peep’s arrival later this year.

Party with Pixar Pals at Disney's Hollywood Studios

2019 marks the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at Walt Disney World® Resort.  Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the perfect place to step into the amazing worlds of Pixar stories like “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Toy Story,” and very soon, “Cars.”

An Incredible Celebration brings a Municiberg city block from Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” to life with a hometown celebration honoring the city’s super heroes – and the hero in all of us! Get caught up in the excitement of “The Super Shindig” featuring Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone. You may even find themselves on TV, thanks to the local news crew. “The Super Shindig” is filled with music, dancing, interactive games, and tons of super fun!

The entire area has a great, early-‘60s vibe about it, directly inspired by “The Incredibles.” As Guests explore, they will find fun photo ops, evidence of young Jack-Jack discovering his powers, and super tasty “num num” cookies. Don’t miss The Edna Mode Experience, where after touring a gallery of the famous designer’s super suits, Guests will get to meet Edna Mode herself.

Inside the nearby Walt Disney Presents attraction, you can go on another Pixar adventure when you step through a door to the monster world to say hello to Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan on the Scare Floor of “Monsters, Inc.”

Just around the corner is the all-new Toy Story Land, where you can shrink down to the size of a toy in Andy’s backyard and encounter Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie; get caught up in a game of “Sarge Says” with the Green Army Patrol; or delight in the playfully percussive rhythms of the Green Army Drum Corps.

Starting March 31, 2019, the world of “Cars” comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the form of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, a new high-octane show experience that’ll bring Guests face-to-face with the legendary Piston Cup champ.

Toy Story Land Friends to Dress Up For the Holidays

Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® will join in on the holiday fun this year by dressing up for the holidays with fun new seasonal decor. Here is a first look at what the “Toy Story” friends – Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear – will wear in Toy Story Land this holiday season.

When you visit Walt Disney World® Resort for the holidays, expect to see Woody in a holiday vest adorned with a Christmas tree and presents, as well as a candy cane accessory for his holster. Jessie will also trade in her cowgirl vest for a holiday vest trimmed in a peppermint pattern, while Buzz Lightyear will add a sparkly Santa hat to his out-of-this-world ensemble.

In addition to holiday character greetings, Guests visiting Toy Story Land beginning November 8, 2018, can enjoy the land’s new holiday decor, including including oversized cranberry-and-popcorn garland, a holiday card “selfie” of “Toy Story” pals, an oversized Hamm sugar cookie, Green Alien ornaments and more. The land’s attractions will also be plussed up for the season with new holiday audio or music: Guests will hear sleigh bells ringing on Slinky Dog Dash, while Alien Swirling Saucers will offer two holiday tracks, plus themed lighting.

Play Big at Toy Story Land Before the Park Opens With Disney Early Morning Magic

Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios allows you to experience all the “Toy Story” fun in Andy’s backyard and has been a smash hit with Guests since the land opened this summer (June 2018).

Because of this land's popularity and hard to get FastPass+ for these new attractions, there is a brand-new way to experience everything the land has to offer, with less of a wait!

On select dates, beginning Sept. 17, 2018, you can experience exclusive, limited-time access to Toy Story Land during Disney Early Morning Magic! Disney Early Morning Magic – which is a separate offering than the Extra Magic Hours enjoyed by guests staying at Disney resorts – allows you to enjoy Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania!, Alien Swirling Saucers, plus character greetings with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie. The experience also includes a continental buffet featuring yogurt, fruit, pastries, and assorted cereal as well as your choice of a tasty main dish like avocado toast or fried chicken and cronut with maple glaze. The breakfast setup will be available at a quick service dining location outside of Toy Story Land.

Disney Early Morning Magic takes place on select Monday and Wednesday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.  Breakfast will be available until 10 a.m.

The Disney Early Morning Magic experience costs $79 plus tax for adults (ages 10+) and $69 plus tax for children ages 3-9. Tickets are limited for these morning events. A separate ticket for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required and is not included in the experience price.

Toy Story Land Opens Today!

Toy Story Land opens today at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World!

Over the past few months, we’ve shared some amazing photos and videos of Toy Story Land, and today we have a daytime aerial flyover of the new land to share.

Toy Story Land gives you a “toy’s-eye-view” of Andy’s backyard, and allows you to join in on the fun that Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys are having. Here, Guests can ride Slinky Dog Dash, a roller coaster Andy has assembled from his Mega Coaster Play Kit, take a spin on Alien Swirling Saucers, walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania!, grab a tasty snack at Woody’s Lunchbox – and meet some of the characters from “Toy Story” films!
