See Bo Peep from Disney•Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 4’ at Disney Parks This Summer

Bo Peep, from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Toy Story” films, will be making special appearances at Disney Parks starting this summer. Meet Bo when she finds her way to Disneyland Paris, Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She’ll also be traveling across the Pacific to visit Disney Parks in Asia!

In “Toy Story 4,” when Bonnie takes the toys on her family’s road trip, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, whose adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realize that’s the least of their worries.

Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to theaters on June 21, 2019. Stay tuned for more information on Bo Peep’s arrival later this year.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel to Open at Pixar Pier

Pixar Pier, the reimagined land in Disney California Adventure® Park, shares the stories and characters of Disney•Pixar films with exciting attractions, themed neighborhoods and fun eateries. Some more exciting news for this area is that Jessie’s Critter Carousel will open in April!

Mosey on over to a giant toy carousel starring Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl and a friendly bunch of desert critters for a rootin’, tootin’ romp. Inspired by the “Toy Story” films, this attraction invites you to saddle up on a whimsical snake, armadillo, turtle, bunny and more from the world of Woody’s Roundup.

Disneyland Resort in 2019

Disneyland® Resort is the ultimate travel destination in 2019 with plenty of new, fun-filled experiences to enjoy. Here’s what your can look forward to this year!

Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration
During the biggest celebration of Mickey and Minnie in Disneyland history, enjoy new and enhanced entertainment plus limited-time décor, specialty foods and merchandise. Kicking off later this month, “Mickey’s Mix Magic” will light up Disneyland Park with a new high-energy projection show, creating a family-fun dance party atmosphere. The fan-favorite, “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade,” also returns with a rockin’ new opening to kick off the party.

Lunar New Year
Ring in the Year of the Pig during Lunar New Year celebrations at Disney California Adventure® Park, January 25 through February 17, 2019. A joyous celebration of Asian cultures, Lunar New Year encourages Guests of all ages to enjoy multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, beautiful décor, delicious cuisine and themed merchandise. “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” will feature the Three Little Pigs as a special treat for the Year of the Pig.

Guests looking to feast on authentic Asian fare can check out the marketplaces like Longevity Noodle Co. and Prosperity Bao & Buns. A Sip and Savor Pass will be also available for adventurous palates interested in tasting six culinary creations.

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
Explore California-inspired cuisine and beverages, plus live entertainment, family-friendly seminars and cooking demonstrations at this culinary festival, March 1 through April 23, 2019. More than a dozen mouthwatering Festival Marketplaces feature small plates, specialty wines and craft beers. The Sip and Savor Pass will be available to Guests looking to taste their way through the festival.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
In summer 2019, you live your own Star Wars adventure in a galaxy far, far away and explore Black Spire Outpost. Once a busy crossroads, this spaceport on the planet Batuu is now home to those who prefer to stay out of the mainstream, including smugglers, rogue traders and exotic creatures traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. Guests can take the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. On Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, join a battle between the First Order and the Resistance – including a face-off with Kylo Ren.

Disney Video: Pixar Promenade at Disney California Adventure

Here is a closer look of Pixar Promenade, located at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure® Park.

This charming seaside promenade is inspired by classic turn-of-the-century California boardwalks. The reimagined area celebrates the heartwarming stories and beloved characters from all Pixar films. Join us on a tour of Pixar Promenade!

The focal point of Pixar Promenade is the soaring Pixar Pal-A-Round. As you step up to the attraction, notice the different pairs of Pixar pals on each of the 24 gondolas!

At the Games of Pixar Pier, test your skills at Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss, Wall-E Space Race, La Luna Star Catcher and Bullseye Stallion Stampede.

Another prominent feature is the classic band-shell stage, where Guests may find The Pixarmonic Orchestra performing its repertoire of fun tunes. At Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, discover a treasure trove of candies, souvenirs and trinkets. For some savory bites, Guests can head over to Angry Dogs, where the dogs heat up as Anger from “Inside Out” burns with rage!

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff — the delightful, whimsical merchandise and confectionery location—is now open along Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure® Park!

Upon entering, you will notice Bing Bong, the fluffy pink, imaginary friend from the Disney•Pixar film “Inside Out,” bursting out of the marquee, welcoming them to his treasure trove of sweets!

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff offers Guests a large selection of candies, saltwater taffy, rainbow cotton candy, caramel apples, as well as fun Pixar souvenirs, apparel and accessories!

The newly reimagined Pixar Pier features the beloved stories of Pixar through exciting attractions, imaginative neighborhoods and food locations all inspired by Pixar films.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind to Open in 2019

There will be four exciting neighborhoods to discover at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure® Park —Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade and Inside Out Headquarters.

Located on the western end of the pier, the lush and colorful Inside Out Headquarters will be the future home of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind! Making its Pixar Pier debut in 2019, this whimsical family-friendly attraction inspired by “Inside Out” will be—not surprisingly—full of emotions.

Also joining Pixar Pier in 2019 is Jessie’s Critter Carousel. Inspired by Jessie’s wilderness friends in the “Woody’s Roundup” television show from “Toy Story 2,” this reimagined attraction is a classic boardwalk carousel with a rootin’ tootin’ spin.

In the meantime, you can now visit Pixar Pier to discover many new experiences, including the Incredicoaster and Pixar Pal-A-Round attractions, Lamplight Lounge, Pixar-themed food locations and more!

Incredibles Join Paint the Night

Fan-favorite “Paint the Night” parade at Disney California Adventure® Park is currently dazzling audiences during the limited-time Pixar Fest at the Disneyland® Resort. This electrifying parade uses more than 1 million brilliant lights, high-energy music and cutting edge special effects featuring many beloved Disney and Pixar pals.

Joining “Paint the Night” on June 23, 2018 is a new float inspired by Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2.” The Parr family and their pal Frozone will make their debut in this spectacular parade with high-tech, pop-art effects.

Here’s how the fun and excitement of “The Incredibles” will be brought to life:

The dynamic and colorful new float connects both “The Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2,” picking up where the first film left off and portraying the scene that shows the Parr family banding together against the supervillain known as “The Underminer.”
Violet Parr uses her super powers to surround herself with a “force field.” It will come to life through a custom-built persistence-of-vision (POV) globe – the first and largest ever to be installed on a Disney parade float.
Dash’s super-human speed is captured through an innovative system of 64 individually lit frames, flashing as he races in circles around the float.
Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible, along with their pal Frozone, light up the night in new super suits. The suits have been installed and wired by hand and are fully programmable to be in sync with the music and the float lighting.
The super suits, designed by eccentric fashion designer Edna Mode, are illuminated with nearly 100 sheets of flexible, miniature LEDs. This is the first time these light-up suits will be worn by any Disney or Pixar character.
The chest logos on the Incredibles’ glowing super suits are made up of 60 individually programmable LEDs.

This super float joins “Paint the Night” this summer during Pixar Fest, the limited-time celebration happening now through September 3, 2018. Pixar Pier will also welcome you at Disney California Adventure Park on June 23, 2018!

Lamplight Lounge at DCA

Lamplight Lounge is the hot new spot coming to Disney California Adventure® Park! Located at the entrance of Pixar Pier, the Lounge will be a stylish, fun place to hang out with the whole family, serving up playfully presented California casual gastro-pub cuisine and unique signature cocktails.

Here is a sneak peek at some of the delicious items that will be available when Pixar Pier opens on June 23, 2018.

Starting with “Shorts” to Share: the Potato Skins will make for the perfect crunchy snack to start off a meal, made with crispy Yukon gold potatoes, these skins come with brown butter-caper yogurt, smoked paprika aïoli, and Manchego cheese. For sushi lovers, there is the Carne Asada Roll with New York grilled strip steak, roasted Fresno chili salsa, escabeche, and crema.

On the Bigger Bites menu, a vegetarian entrée will take the “lamplight” – the Spinach Salad! This salad consists of curly spinach with warm wild mushrooms, a soft poached egg, charred onion vinaigrette, shiitake “bacon,” and blue cheese toast. Another featured entrée will be the Chicken Sandwich. This savory, spicy sandwich comes with crispy chicken with spicy chili glaze, vinegar slaw, and pineapple butter and served on an Amish bun alongside malted fries.

On the kids menu, “Budding Artists” will love the PB&J Roll! A fun twist on a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich, this creamy peanut butter and whole wheat “roll” comes drizzled with strawberry jelly. It’s also served with fresh fruit and a flower pot of hummus and veggies.

Lamplight Lounge and Pixar Pier are set to officially open June 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure Park. This expansive reimagining will transform the shores of Paradise Bay with favorite Pixar stories. Other exciting food and beverage locations coming to Pixar Pier include Poultry Palace, Señor Buzz Churros, Angry Dogs, and the recently-opened Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats.

Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats

Just in time for summer – there’s a ‘cool’ new spot now open at Disney California Adventure® Park. One of the first locations to open at Pixar Pier is Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats!

Inspired by the lovable and not-at-all-abominable monster from the Disney•Pixar film “Monsters, Inc.,” this will be a go-to spot for yummy frozen treats! Here you can order cones and cups with tasty towering soft serve, available in chocolate, vanilla, and non-dairy lemon.

The Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats will also be scooping up a few specialty treats like the Pixar Pier Parfait, a non-dairy lemon soft serve and blue raspberry frozen beverage and the It’s Snow-Capped Lemon, also a non-dairy lemon soft serve with a “snow-cap” of white chocolate. A selection of fountain sodas will be served as well, with the option to turn any soda into a float with a choice of soft serve.

Pixar Pier is set to officially open in June at Disney California Adventure Park. This expansive reimagining will transform the shores of Paradise Bay with favorite Pixar stories. Food Options at Pixar Pier

Throughout the newly reimagined Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure, there will be new experiences to discover – both big and small.

In 2019 Guests will be able to experience Jessie's Critter Carousel. Jessie the yodeling cowgirl will invite you for a rootin’ tootin’ spin inspired by Jessie’s wilderness friends in the “Woody’s Roundup” television show from “Toy Story 2.” This newly reimagined attraction is a classic boardwalk carousel with a whimsical spin. Saddle up on one of 56 adorable friends, choosing from a turtle, snake, buzzard, armadillo, bunny, deer, raccoon, ram, skunk and two cozy logs inhabited by a family of owls.

And when Pixar Pier opens June 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure® Park, you will find some new places to eat at!

The Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, inspired by the lovable and not-at-all-abominable monster from “Monsters, Inc.,” will be serving frozen treats.

In the “Toy Story” neighborhood of Pixar Pier, big appetites and small fries alike will love the Poultry Palace. This giant fun meal inspired by Pixar’s short, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry,” even comes with a Fun Meal Zurg!

Señor Buzz Churros, inspired by when Buzz had been switched into Spanish mode to offer, will be serving the quintessential Disneyland Resort treat - churros!

Further down Pixar Pier, Angry Dogs will be serving up some hot items – which is the perfect place for Anger from “Inside Out.” The more he burns with rage, the hotter the dogs get!

Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure

When Pixar Pier opens June 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure® Park, Guests will discover a new hot spot - Lamplight Lounge. This seaside lounge will be an elegant yet fun gathering place for the whole family, located at the entrance of Pixar Pier. And it will still serve the Guest-favorite Lobster Nachos!

Lamplight Lounge will serve California casual gastro-pub cuisine that is playfully presented along with unique signature cocktails. This seaside lounge contains a full bar with picturesque waterfront views from both upstairs and downstairs. At night, outdoor seating provides views of the illuminated Pixar Pier and “World of Color.”

Renovated from an old warehouse factory, the location has kept many features of the original two-story building. The steel structural elements as well as concrete and brick walls were exposed and repaired to tell the story of its past. The original wood boards from the factory were refinished and given new life as ceiling panels and floors. The furniture style echoes a relaxed feel and the end result is an open, airy and bright place that is organic yet sophisticated.

Lamplight Lounge celebrates the creativity, inspirations and personalities of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life. Discover the artistic marks that the Pixar “regulars” have left throughout the lounge: concept art, a quick sketch on a napkin, knick-knacks and collectable toys of beloved Pixar characters will adorn the space.

Pixar Pier Opening Date

Pixar Pier will open June 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure® Park. This reimagined land will feature four whimsical neighborhoods representing beloved Pixar stories with newly themed attractions, foods and merchandise. Guests will enter Pixar Pier through a new marquee, pictured above, which will be topped by the iconic Pixar lamp later in the year.

The June 23 opening of Pixar Pier will also include the Incredicoaster – a super combination of character figures, lighting and special effects that will bring the Parr family racing alongside you in a high-speed adventure.

Also coming in June is a dazzling new float for the popular “Paint the Night” parade featuring Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone from “The Incredibles.” This new float will bring all of the fun and excitement of the Incredibles’ world to life with high-tech, pop-art effects inspired by the mid-century-modern style of the films. Dynamic and innovative visual technology will also bring Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack to life, showcasing their powers in surprising ways!

“Paint the Night” Parade makes its Disney California Adventure Park debut when the first-ever Pixar Fest celebration begins throughout the Disneyland Resort on April 13, 2018.
